Initial Start-Up

Refrigerator and freezer compartments can be operated and controlled independently of one another.

3 After the refrigerator and/or freezer compartments have been switched on, the electronics initiate a self-test.

0Insert plug into mains socket.

Refrigerator Start-Up

0Press refrigerator ON/OFF button.

The green power indicator for the fridge compartment lights up. The refrigerator temperature display shows the current, actual refrigerator temperature. The flashing red warning light indicates that the required storage temperature has not yet been reached. Once the self-test rou- tine is complete, the compressor starts and functions automatically thereafter.

0Set the refrigerator to the desired temperature (see section: "Tempera- ture Adjustment").

3 Goods to be refrigerated can be loaded immediately after switching on, because the storage temperature in the refrigerator is quickly reached.

Freezer Compartment Start-Up

0Press freezer compartment ON/OFF button.

The green power indicator for the freezer compartment lights up. The freezer compartment temperature display shows the current, actual freezer compartment temperature. The flashing red warning light indi- cates that the required storage temperature has not yet been reached. Once the self-test routine is complete, the compressor starts and func- tions automatically thereafter.

0Set temperature to -18°C or colder (see section: "Temperature Adjust- ment").

0Do not load freezer with goods until a temperature of -18°C has been reached, or until the red warning display has gone out.
