Audio Setup

Use the NAVIGATION buttons to highlight the desired audio selection and press ENTER to confirm.

Item	Description	Options (Default is in Bold)
	Sets the player’s digital output signal
Digital Out1	(Optical and Coaxial). For use with	SPDIF/PCM, SPDIF/RAW, Off
	5.1-channel receivers (see your
	receiver’s manual for more details).
	Sets the player analog output jacks	2 Channel, 5.1 Channel
Analog Out2	for use with your speaker configura-
	tion.
Center	When Analog Out is set to “5.1 Chan-
Rear	nel”, these options will be available to	On, Off
Subwoofer	turn on or off each of these channels.

1.If you are not using the digital optical or coaxial connections, it is recommended that this option be set to OFF to minimize circuit interference.

2.If you are using the included home theater speakers, set this to “5.1 Channel”. If you are only using an RCA Stereo Audio connection, set this to “2 Channel”.

Custom Setup

Use the NAVIGATION buttons to highlight the desired Custom Setup selection and press ENTER to confirm.

	Sets the maturity rating level of the
	player. The player will not play any	Levels 1 to 8. (8: ADULT is default)
Parental Ctrl	discs rated higher than this setting.
	This setting is password protected
	(the default password is: 8888).
	Change the Parental Ctrl password. Enter the old password, the new pass-
Password	word, and then the new password again to verify. DO NOT FORGET THE
	PASSWORD; this password cannot be reset.
	Displays an on-screen prompt when-
Angle Mark	ever an alternate angle becomes	On, Off
	available for viewing (press ANGLE
	to view).
	Resets all settings to their factory-
Default	default state. This will not reset the	Read
	Parental Ctrl password.
