Displaying Information

iPod® Operation (Optional)

Use the included 2-wire iPod cable to connect an iPod to the XHD7714. Once connected, press MODE until "IPOD" appears in the display. The iPod will automatically begin playback.

If a song is playing on the iPod before it is connected, it will continue to play.

Note: Both the USB and auxiliary input connections must be made when connecting the 2-wire iPod cable.

Press DISP to select the display options as follows:

“UNKNOWN ARTIST” will be displayed if the file contains no artist tag information.

“UNKNOWN ALBUM” will be displayed if the file contains no album tag information.

iPod® Search Mode

Press SELECT once to enter the search mode.

Turn the volume knob to select between playlist, artist, album, song and podcast. Press SELECT to select the desired search type.

Navigate to the desired song and press SELECT to begin playback of that song. Use the table below for reference when navigating through the menu options.

Note: Press ESC to access the previous level (up one level). Pressing ESC from the iPod search main menu will exit the search.
