The appliance should be connected directly lo the fused disconnect (or circuit breaker) throuah Ilexible. armored or n&-metallic sheatied. - copper cable. The ilexible, armored cable extending Irom the appliance should be connecled directly to Ihe junction box. Allow two or three leet of slack in the line so that the appliance can be moved if servicing is ever necessary.

A U.L.-listed conduit connector must be provided al each end 01 the power supply cable (at the appliance and at the junction box). Wire sizes (COPPER WIRE ONLY) and conneclions musl conform with the rating 01 the appliance (40 amperes).

3.Connect the two black wires together; then connect the two red wires together.
