Troubleshooting
If the appliance does not work, before calling for Assistance (see Assistance), check for a solution from the following list.
Malfunctions: | Possible causes / Solutions: | |
The internal light does not | • | The plug has not been inserted into the electrical socket, or not far |
illuminate. |
| enough to make contact, or there is no power in the house. |
The refrigerator and the freezer do | • | The doors do not close properly or the seals are damaged. |
not cool well. | • | The doors are opened too frequently. |

The appliance makes a lot of noise. • The appliance has not been installed on a level surface (see Installation).
•The appliance has been installed between cabinets that vibrate and make noise.
•The internal refrigerant makes a slight noise even when the compressor is off. This is not a defect, it is normal.
There is water at the bottom of the refrigerator.
Icing water at rear of the Fridge
Excess moisture / Ice at rear of the Fridge
•The water discharge hole is blocked (see Maintenance).
•Make sure that the “Fast Freeze switch” (see pag 7 for details) is NOT in the ‘ON’ position, this will cause 100% run. If switch is not in ON position and severe icing persists, set temperature regulating knob (see pag 5 for details) to lower position.
•Excess moisture / Ice will occur if the Larder door is opened for prolonged periods. This will disappear once the door is closed and the Larder allowed to defrost and drain the moisture away. This is normal for cooling function of the Larder compartment, especially in summer period.
Warm Fridge | • If room temperature is 16 C or lower, (for example the product is |
| located in a garage or out building), for the refrigerator to operate |
| correctly the “Fast Freeze switch” must be in the ‘ON’ position (see |
| pag 7 for details) |
