Did you know that conventional washer dryers use water to dry? To extract the water from wet laundry, the hot air has to be cooled down in the heat exchanger. Most washer dryers do this by using lots of fresh, cold water. Not the Wash & Dry from Siemens, though: it uses nothing but cold air to cool the hot air without­ consuming a single drop of additional water, thus saving up to 40 litres of water per drying cycle. The result: fresh, cupboard-dry laundry using much less water.

Unlike other washer dryers, the new Siemens Wash & Dry has several temperature and moisture sensors for precisely measuring and controlling temperature and moisture levels. autoDry thus protects your wash from excessive heat and uneven drying, and the drying process is especially gentle and perfectly accurate. The result: less time ironing, energy savings, and more convenience than ever before.
