Troubleshooting

Malfunctions:

The display is completely switched off.

The motor does not start.

The display is on but it is dim.

The alarm sounds, the ALARM icon flashes on the display, “d” appears on the refrigerator display and the refrigerator compartment light flashes.

The alarm sounds, the ALARM icon flashes on the display and “A1” appears on the freezer display.

Possible causes / Solutions:

The plug has not been inserted into the electrical socket, or not far enough to make contact, or there is no power in the house.

The appliance comes with a motor protection control (see Start-up and use).

Pull out and reverse the plug before putting it back in the socket.

The refrigerator door has been open for more than two minutes. Close the door of the refrigerator.

The temperature inside the freezer is too high. The freezer will maintain a temperature of around 0°C so that the food will not refreeze, so that you can decide whether to eat it within 24 hours or refreeze it after it has been cooked. To silence the buzzer, press the ALARM RESET button or one of the freezer temperature adjustment buttons, or open and close the refrigerator door. To remove the “A1” message from the display and restore normal freezer operation, press one of the freezer temperature adjustment buttons twice or switch the product off and on again.

The temperature of the freezer is dangerously high: the food inside must not be eaten. The refrigerator and the freezer do not cool well.

The appliance has been installed between cabinets that vibrate and make noise.

The internal refrigerant makes a slight noise even when the compressor is off. This is not a defect, it is normal.
