AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

■Enlevez tous les emballages.

■Avant d’utiliser votre cafetière pour la première fois, ou si vous ne l’avez pas utilisée depuis un certain temps, rincez-la en effectuant un cycle d’infusion.

■Suivez la procédure de préparation du café, mais sans y mettre de filtre papier ou filtre permanent ni de café.

PRÉPARATION DU CAFÉ

(Consultez les illustrations 1 à 9)

1. Ouvrez le couvercle en appuyant sur la touche d’ouverture du réservoir d’eau (d) et remplissez le réservoir

(g)avec de l’eau froide, en prenant garde de noter le nombre de tasses en utilisant l’indicateur de niveau d’eau (f) comme guide Fig.1, 2, 3.

Commentaire :

-Votre cafetière est munie d’un bouchon pour remplir rapidement le réservoir, situé sur le dessus de l’appareil. Il suffit de tourner ce bouchon pour le déverrouiller et d’ajouter la quantité d’eau requise en utilisant l’indicateur de niveau d’eau (f) comme guide.

2.Appuyez sur la touche d’ouverture du porte-filtre (c) pour ouvrir le compartiment du porte-filtre. Placez- y un filtre papier ou un filtre permanent Fig. 4 et 5.

3.Ajoutez du café moulu dans le filtre papier ou dans le filtre permanent (k) Fig. 6.

Commentaire : Nous recommandons d’utiliser 2 onces de mouture pour préparer 10 tasses de café.

4.Refermez le compartiment, en vous assurant qu’il est bien fermé et verrouillé, sinon l’appareil ne fonc- tionnera pas correctement Fig. 7.

5.Préchauffez la carafe isolée (h) en la rinçant à l’eau chaude (préchauffer la carafe permet de garder le café plus chaud), puis placez-la sur la base prévue à cet effet (ce n’est pas une plaque chauffante).

Commentaire : Assurez-vous que le couvercle de la carafe est bien fermé en tournant le verrou du couvercle (i) en sens horaire, afin d’assurer que la température du café soit maintenue de façon optimale dans la carafe Fig. 8.

Commentaire : Veuillez noter que le couvercle de la carafe doit être en place pendant le cycle d’infusion, sinon la soupape du dispositif anti-gouttes ne pourra pas s’ouvrir, ce qui fera déborder le filtre.

6. Appuyez sur la touche pour un café classique (a); le voyant sélectionné s’allume Fig. 9.

Commentaire : Lorsque le cycle d’infusion est terminé, le voyant lumineux de la touche sélectionnée s’éteint et l’éclairage intérieur du réservoir reste allumé. Nous vous recommandons d’éteindre votre appareil dès que le cycle d’infusion est terminé.
