How to use your Dishwasher

First of all.

-Plug in and switch on.

-Turn on the water supply tap completely.

-Add the correct amount of detergent.

-Load the baskets correctly.

-Check that the spray arms rotate freely.

-Close the door securely.

-PresstheStand-bybutton"A".The display turns on and 4 dashes ap- pear, these indicate that the dish- washerisnowawaitinginstructions.

Select the wash cycle. Select the wash cycle by pressing button "P".Eachtimeyoupressthe button, a beep will sound and the corresponding symbols willlight up insequence.

Selectthewashcyclemostsuitable for the type of dishes to wash (see ‘Programme Chart’).

Press and hold the Start button "D" for a few seconds and the wash cycle begins. If you left the door open, the word ‘DOOR’ will be dis- played - shut the door and press theStartbuttonagain.

Abeepsounds:thewashcyclehas started and only the symbol corre- sponding to the selected wash cy- cle is displayed.

Youcanseetheamountoftimeleft until the end of the wash cycle on the counter "L".

- Do not expect a precise count- down as the wash cycle starts with anestimatedcycletimeandthesen- sorautomaticallyupdatesthisasthe cycle progresses (time would be affected by such things as water temperatureanddegreeofsoiling).

Have you left the dishwasher door open? The word ‘DOOR’ will flash up on the display. Shut the dishwasher door and the selected wash cycle will start.

Indicator lights.

Cycle phase indicator lights "M" keep you informed. Each will light up to show you which cycle phase is in progress: Pre-Wash, Wash, Rinse or Drying.

Ifyouhavechosenthewrongcycle

-You can modify the wash cycle, if it has only just started. Keep the Reset button "D" pressed in for a fewseconds,aprolongedbeepwill sound, followed by 3 short beeps. The wash cycle symbol will go out and 4 dashes appear to show that allsettingshavebeencancelled.You are now able to reselect the correct wash cycle that you require.

You've left out a dish?

Interrupt the wash cycle by press- ing the Stand-by button "A". Open thedoorandinsertthedishyouhad forgotten,closethedoorand press thesamebuttonagain.

The cycle will start up from where you interrupted it.

Cycle end

The end of the wash cycle is indi- cated by 2 short beeps and the word ‘END’ flashes up on the dis- play.

Turn the display off by pressing the Stand-by button "A".

Switch off and disconnect from the electricity supply.

Turn off the water tap.

Wait a few minutes before unload- ing the dishes: they are very hot! If youwaitalittlewhile,theydrybetter due to the steam.

Empty the lower basket first. Ensure the wash cycle has ended before attempting to remove any dishes.

Delaying the start of a programme.

Whenyouhaveloadedthedishes, youcanchoosewhentostartyour dishwasherbeforesettingthewash cycledesired.

Press button"M" (Mode)andthen selectthesymbolcorrespondingto theDelayedStartFirst of all.

Therectanglealongsidewilldarken toshowselection.Nowpressbutton “S”toselectthedelayedstartby1 to24hours.Ifyoupressthisbutton again,theword‘OFF’isdisplayed (noselectionmade).

Eachtimethebuttonispressed,a beep will sound - Once you have madeyourselectionmakesurethe door is shut and press the Start button"D".

The countdown to the start is displayed.When this time elapses, thewashcyclebeginsandthetime left will come up in the display.

Have you changed your mind?

Ifyoudecideyourequireadifferent delay start period, press the "M" (Mode) and“S”(Select)buttonsand makeadifferentselection.

Ifyouwanttocancelthedelaystart and start the selected wash cycle immediately,pressthe“S”(Select) button repeatedly until it is set to zero.The Indicator lights.indicatorwillturnoff. The delayed start is also reset automatically, should you fail to select a wash cycle within 15 seconds.

Duo-Wash cycle Modifying a wash cycle in progress.

This is a special cycle that runs a different wash on the two basket positions.

Upper basket: delicate, for glass- ware and glasses.

Lower basket: heavy duty, for saucepans and frying pans.

Pressbutton"M" (Mode)andthen selectthesymbolcorrespondingto Duo-Wash and press button "S" (Select)‘on’meansitisselectedand therectanglealongsideitwilllightup, whereas‘off’meansitisdisabled.

Afterapproximately5secondsyou willautomaticallyquitthemenu. NowpressStartandthewashcycle startisindicatedbyabeep.

Half load.You've left out a dish?

Thisoptionisavailablewithallwash cycles.

Yourdishwasheralsoallowsyouto washhalfaload(usingonebasket), tosavewater,electricityanddeter- gent(useonlyhalftheamount).

Press button "M" (Mode) repeatedly until symbol "N" is selected, the corresponding rectanglewilllightup.

Using button “S” (Select) you can decidetowashahalf-loadoneither: The upper basket Cycle end or

thelowerbasket

Eachtimeyoupressthebuttonyou will hear a beep and the correspondingsymbolwilllightup. When no symbol is lit it means no selectionhasbeenmade.

Onceyouhavemadetheselection, pressStarttobeginthewashcycle.

“Extra” drying

If you want your dishes to be perfectlydry:

Openthedoor,turnknob“M”tothe Resetposition,selectthebasket/s to be used and delayed start if required.

Startthewashcycleasnormal. Indicator“G”willshowsymbol when it has reached the drying phase. The symbol will flash for approximately4secondsandthe wordOFFappearsonthedisplay (extradryingdisabled).

Ifyouimmediatelypressbutton“I”, youwillhearaprolongedbeepand the word ON will appear on the displayandextradryinghasbeen selected.

Onceyouhavecompletedallyour selections, shut the door. You will hearabeepandthewashcyclewill start,eitherimmediatelyorafterthe delayedstartifselected.

Remember that with extra drying selected the programme will last longer.

There'sbeenapowerfailureor youopenedthedishwasherdoor

The wash cycle stops and then restarts when the electricity comes backonorwhenyouclosethedoor.

Foryourownsafety,ensurethedooris closedwhenthedishwasherisnotin use.
