Removal of mineral deposits

Over time, mineral deposits in tap water may build up in the water tank and internal tubes. It is important to periodically remove these mineral deposits to ensure the optimum performance of your appliance.

4.Leave the appliance off for 15minutes to allow the solution to take effect in the internal tubes and water tank.

5.After 15 minutes, press the ON/AUTO/OFF button once, and wait for the rest of the solution to drip through into the carafe until the water tank is empty.

5.Remove the carafe, filter basket holder and removable mesh filter and clean in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly and position back into place in the appliance.

6.Fill the water tank to the maximum capacity (12 cups) and press the ON/ AUTO/OFF button once, and allow water to drip into the carafe until the water tank is empty. Empty the carafe and repeat 2 more times.
