7.I sali minerali presenti nell’acqua potabile possono causare dei depositi calcarei nella macchina. Si tratta di un processo naturale, che può rallentare il tempo di preparazione del caffè, e che si può evitare pulendo la macchina periodicamente dai depositi calcarei.

8.Per togliere i depositi calcarei, riempire la caraffa di acqua fredda e aggiungere due cucchiai di aceto bianco. Versare la soluzione nel serbatoio, quindi mettere il coperchio. Mettere la caraffa sulla piastra e accendere la macchina permettendole di “fare il caffè” con la soluzione di acqua e aceto. Non mettere il filtro nel cestello. Una volta che la soluzione di acqua e aceto è passata, svuotare la caraffa e risciacquarla in acqua fredda. Riempire il serbatoio di acqua fredda (senza aceto) e fare partire di nuovo il ciclo, questa volta senza aceto, per togliere eventuali residui di aceto. Ripetere secondo necessità. Vi suggeriamo di eseguire questa pulizia 4 volte all’anno.
