OPERATIONE
•Protective coating burn off will cause smoking on first use. This is NOT harmful and will disappear after a short time.
•When using for the first time, wipe the surface of the plates with a damp cloth, then dry.
•Install the drip tray on the base, under the heating unit
•Close the appliance and plug into the electrical outlet. The red power light will come on to indicate that the appliance is switched on.
•Set the thermostat to the desired position from “MIN” to “MAX” (MAX being the hottest). When the green pilot light goes on, it means that the desired temperature is reached. During use, this pilot light will come on and off regularly. This simply means that the thermostat is regulating the appliance's temperature.
•Caution: during operation, the baking plates heat up. Pay attention not to get burned.
•Open the appliance and lightly brush the plates with butter, margarine or cooking oil.
•Pour the batter evenly onto the middle of the bottom baking plate but not all the way to the edges. Press the lid down in order
