Flor de Cebolla Frita en Sartén Hondo

Aceite de canola o aceite vegetal mixto para freír 1 cebolla grande

2 huevos

½taza de cerveza

½taza de leche

2 tazas de harina para usos múltiples

½cucharadita de bicarbonato de sosa

½cucharadita de pimienta negra

Precaliente el aceite a 375° F. Pele la cebolla y córtele la parte de abajo. Corte la cebolla en gajos de ¾ de pulgada sin desprenderlos totalmente de la base.

Remoje la cebolla en agua helada, aproximadamente de 7 a 12 minutos, hasta que los gajos se abran. Escurra la cebolla y séquela con palmaditas, con una toalla. Mezcle juntos los huevos, la cerveza y la leche. En un tazón aparte, mezcle la harina, el bicarbonato y la pimienta negra.
