When the hi-fi system receives FM stereo channels, »ST.« appears in the display. If the signal from the FM stereo channel is weak, you can improve the sound quality by switching to mono reception.

1Press »FM MODE« on the remote control to switch to mono re- ception.

Display: »MONO« briefly, »)« disappears.

2To switch back to FM stereo, press »FM MODE« on the remote control.

Display: »STEREO« briefly, »)«.

Note:

If you store radio stations as presets, the stereo/mono setting is also transferred. You can then store a radio station specifically as a stereo or mono channel.
