TIMER MODE___________________________________________________

Your hi-fi system has two timer modes:

The switch-on timer, which switches the device on and off at a preset time.

The sleep-timer, which switches the machine off at a time you set.

1Press »TIMER« and hold it down.

Display: »￿ ON«, the hours of the switch-on time flash.

2Enter the hours with »5a« or »s6« and confirm with »TIMER«.

Display: »￿ ON«, the minutes of the switch-on time flash.

3Enter the minutes with »5a« or »s6« and confirm with »TIMER«.

Display: »￿ OFF«, the hours of the switch-off time flash.

4Enter the hours with »5a« or »s6« and confirm with »TIMER«.

Display: »￿ OFF«, the minutes of the switch-off time flash.

5Enter the minutes with »5a« or »s6« and confirm with »TIMER«.

Display: »￿ TUNER«.

6Select TUNER or CD as the source with »5a« or »s6« and confirm with »TIMER«.

Display: e.g. »￿ VOL 14«.

7Select the desired switch-on volume with »5a« or »s6« confirm with »TIMER«.

All of the timer settings are now displayed one after another in the display.

The hi-fi system switches on with the last radio station set or the CD inserted.

Setting the switch-on timer again

1To alter the existing timer settings press »TIMER« and hold it down until »￿ ON« appears in the display and the hours of the switch-on time flash.

2To alter the timer settings, proceed as described in the previous section.

Activating and deactivating the alarm

1To switch off the alarm, press »TIMER« briefly.

Display: »￿« disappears.

2To switch on the alarm, press »TIMER« briefly again.

Display: »￿«.
