Searching for RDS stations

1To search for an RDS station, press »m« or »,« repeatedly until »RDS« appears in the display indicating that an RDS station is being received.

After a short time the station name sometimes appears if the reception is sufficiently strong.

Note:

It may take some time before all the RDS information is avail- able.

Calling up RDS information

If an RDS station is being received, various station information can be called up in the display.

1Press »RDS« repeatedly.

The display shows the waveband with the preset position and frequency, station type, radio ticker text, the station name, and then the waveband again with the preset position and frequency.

Searching for station types (PTY)

1Press »S PTY SEARCH« to call up the PTY search function.

Display: »PTY SEARCH«.

If no station type code is transmitted, »NO PTY« appears in the display.

2 Select other station types by pressing »a

PTY « or

»s PTY +«.

 

3Press »OK« to start the PTY search.

If the station type cannot be found, the following ticker text message appears: »NOT FOUND«.

If the station type is found, the frequency appears in the dis- play and the desired station type can be heard.
