1Press »BAND« to select the frequency band (FM or MW).

2Select the channel position with »5a« or »s6«.

Display: »PROG« and, for example, »02« and the frequency or the channel name.

Stereo/mono reception

When the hi-fi system receives FM stereo channels, »￿« appears in the display. If the signal from the FM stereo channel is weak, you can improve the sound quality by switching to mono reception.

1Press »FM MODE« on the remote control to switch to mono reception.

Display: »￿« disappears.

2To switch back to FM stereo, press »FM MODE« on the remote control.

Display: »￿«.

Note:

If you store radio stations as presets, the stereo/mono setting is also transferred (see page 18). You can then store a radio sta- tion specifically as a stereo or mono channel.

Automatic station search (ASP)

By starting the automatic station search, you can delete all the existing presets and replace them with new ones at the same time.

1Start the automatic search in tuner mode by pressing and holding down »PROG./RAND./￿«.

After the search has finished, you will hear the station stored at preset position 01.

Note:

The automatic station search can be interrupted by briefly pressing »7«.
