Use

This oven has four functions and they are:

Conventional Cooking

Top element only

Bottom element only

Grilling

The symbol on the knob corresponds to the symbol on the control panel.

Off

200º ” Maximum temperature for conventional oven.

50º ” Minimum temperature for

 

conventional oven.

“Grill”

Grill function (heat comes from

 

the top element

only).

“Top”

Heat comes from top element

 

only.

 

“Bottom”

Heat comes

from bottom

 

element only.

 

Cooking in the Oven

Traditional cooking is made by natural convection. It is necessary to pre-heat the oven.

It may be necessary to adjust the temperature to suit your individual requirements. Only experience will enable you to determine the correct setting for your personal requirements.

Top oven element only

This function is suitable for finishing cooked dishes, e.g.; lasagne, shepherds pie, cauliflower cheese etc.

Bottom oven element only

This function is particularly useful when blind- baking pastry or cooking pizza. It may also be used to finish off quiches or flans to ensure the base pastry is cooked through.
