Temperature alarm

Your appliance is fitted with a warning system which ensures that the temperature in the freezer cannot rise unnoticed. The alarm indicator light will come on as soon as the temperature becomes too warm. The setting on the temperature dial determines the range of temperatures the appliance recog- nises as too warm.

The alarm indicator light will come on

–when the freezer is switched on.

–if the lid has been left open for a while, e.g. in order to load, to re-arrange or to take food out.

–when freezing large amounts of food at once.

–if there has been a lengthy interruption to the power supply.

The alarm indicator light goes out when the temperature which has been set is reached.

Activating the alarm system

The alarm system is always active. It does not have to be switched on manually.
