Cleaning and care

If the oven interior is extremely soiled, the Self Clean program will automatically shut off. Remove large pieces of debris and restart the Self Clean program.

A tone will sound and the "p" symbol will flash when the Self Clean program has ended.

Once the oven has cooled remove the pyrolytic ash.

Most debris can be removed with a damp cloth.

Sometimes a film can build up on the oven door. This can be removed with a shielded blade scraper or a non-abra- sive sponge and a mild solution of warm water and liquid soap.

The Self Clean program can be set to start at a later time like the other pro- grams, See "Clock / Timer operation".

The Self Clean program will interrupt,

if the program selector is turned to the "0" position,

if another program is selected during the cleaning process,

in the event of a power failure.

The oven door will remain locked if the program is interrupted.

The door will only open again when the oven temperature has fallen below 530°F/280°C and the program selector has been turned to the "0" position and then to "Light". The "p" symbol will light up in the display.

After 30 seconds, the "p" symbol will flash and the door can be opened.

If the heating phase of the Self Clean program interrupts independently, the error message "F 15" will appear in the display.

The door will only open again when the oven temperature has fallen below 530°F/280 °C and the program selector has been turned to the "0" position and then to "Light".

After approx. 60 seconds the error mes- sage will go out and "PYRO" and the "p"

symbol will light up in the display. After 30 seconds, the "p" symbol will flash and the oven door can be opened.
