To understandthe Cook Codecon- trol, it is importantto knowwhat the numbersmeanand whatthe sequenceis.The first and second numbers, if settinga 3 digit Cooking Code,indicatethe amountof time you desire;the lastcontrol entry number is always the PowerLevel. Forexample,125means12minutes

at PowerLevel5. NOTE:Your oven can only be programmedto 99 min- uteswhenusingtheCookCodecon- trol andthe highestPowerLevelis 10which isrepresentedby “O”When. setting a 2 digit Cook Codecontrol entry,the first is time,the secondis powerlevel.For example,50 means 5 minutesat PowerLevel10.

On the following pageis shown manyfrequentlypreparedfoods and their codes+{t’seasy,though, to makeCookingCodesfor many other recipes.Just selectone or two digits representingthe length of cookingtime desired,and a final digit for the PowerLevelrequired. The CookingCodesgivenon the chartarefor the minimumtime needed,to avoidovercookingwhich can dry out food and makeit taste- lessand tough. !f you feelthat more cooking is needed,addadditional time by changingthe first digit of

the Code. You cannot add seconds to the cycletime—Ccmking Codes arefor whole minutesonly. If your recipecallsfor PowerLevelchanges or differentamountsof time needed betweenadditionof ingredients, you may setoneCooking Codefor the first part of the recipe,then after completion,setanotherCooking Code for that periodof time and PowerLevel.

Rememberthat CookingCodesare for microwavingby time only. If you are microwavingby temperature, you mustusethe Temp Cook or Auto Roastfunction.
