CÓMO INSTALAR LA ESTUFA

•Instale el regulador de presión proporcionado en la línea de gas tan cerca de la entrada a la estufa como sea posible. Es posible que sea necesario dejar algunas tolerancias para los conductos de ventilación.

Cerciórese de que el regulador sea instalado en la dirección correcta.

•Instale la válvula de cierre manual en la línea de gas en un lugar donde se pueda tener acceso a ella fácilmente.

NOTA: En vez de usar tubería sólida para conectar el regulador de presión, un conectador de electrodomésticos metálico flexible podría usarse entre la válvula de cierre y el regulador de presión, si los códigos locales lo permiten.

Se requieren tuercas abocinadas apropiadas y adaptadores en cada extremo del conectador flexible.

PRUEBA DE FUGAS

ADVERTENCIA: ¡NO USE UNA LLAMA PARA PROBAR SI EXISTE ALGUNA FUGA DE GAS! No use la estufa hasta que todas las conexiones hayan sido probadas en busca de fugas.

Lleve a cabo una prueba de fugas conforme a las instrucciones siguientes:

1.Compre un detector de fugas líquido o prepare una solución de jabón y agua. Una parte de agua una parte detergente líquido.

2.Cuando todas las conexiones hayan sido hechas, cerciórese de que todos los controles de la estufa están apagados (OFF) y de que la válvula de suministro de gas a la estufa está accionado (ON).

3.Aplique el detector de fugas o la solución jabonosa alrededor de todas las conexiones a partir de la válvula de cierre hasta la estufa.

4.Un fuga es identificada por un flujo de burbujas del área de fuga.

5.Si usted detecta una fuga, suspenda el suministro de gas. Apriete la conexión. Conecte el gas otra vez y pruebe de nuevo.

Si la fuga persiste, suspenda el suministro de gas y póngase en contacto con su distribuidor en busca de asistencia. No intente operar la estufa si la fuga persiste.

IMPORTANTE: Desconecte la estufa y la válvula de cierre de la tubería de suministro de gas durante cualquier prueba de presión de ese sistema a presiones mayores de 1/2 psig. Aísle la estufa de su sistema de tubería de suministro de gas cerrando la válvula de cierre de gas individual manual hacia la estufa durante cualquier prueba del sistema de presión de las tuberías de presión de gas a una prueba de presión igual o menor de 1/2 psig.

16CONEXIONES ELÉCTRICAS DEL SOPLADOR

•Afloje los dos tornillos y remueva y descarte la cubierta del conectador metálico en el fondo de la estufa. Guarde los tornillos para la reinstalación que vendrá más tarde.

•Conecte el tapón de 5 pasadores en la ensambladura para combinar con el receptáculo de 5 pasadores en el fondo de la estufa.

•Doble todos los alambres en el alojamiento eléctrico. Asegure el alojamiento con los tornillos removidos anteriormente, cerciorándose de que no quedaron alambres atrapados.
