Radio Reception

Tuning to radio stations

1Press SOURCE or TUNER once or more to select the desired waveband : FM or AM (MW).

2Press and hold ALBUM/TUNING 5 6 until the frequency indication starts to change, then

release.

MTo tune to a weak station, press ALBUM/ TUNING 5 6EULHÁ\DQGUHSHDWHGO\XQWLO optimal reception found.

Note:

² 7KHV\VWHPLVHTXLSSHGZLWKDÀ[HG)0 antenna and a built-in AM antenna. For optimal FM reception, fully extend and adjust the position of the FM antenna until the strongest signal is found.

Programming radio stations

You can store up to 40 radio stations (FM:20, AM: 20) in the memory.

Automatic programming

1In tuner mode, press and hold PROGRAM for 2 seconds to activate the automatic program

mode.

© [AUTO] (auto) is displayed and begins to blink.

©$OODYDLODEOHUDGLRVWDWLRQVZLWKVXIÀFLHQWVLJ- nal strength will be stored automatically.

To stop automatic programming

MPress STOP9 .

Note:

– If no preset number is selected, automatic preset will begin from preset (1) and all your former presets will be overridden.

Manual programming

1Tune to a radio station (refer to “Tuning to radio stations”).

2Press PROGRAM.

© PROG begins to blink.

To store the radio station to another preset number

MPress PRESET +/- í/ë to to select the de- sired preset number.

3Press PROGRAM again to store the radio sta- tion.

© PROG disappears.

4Repeat steps 1–3to store other radio stations.

To exit manual programming

MPress STOP 9.

Tuning to preset radio stations

MPress PRESET +/- í/ë until the desired pre- set station is displayed.
