DISPLAY PRIORITY SELECTOR IGNITION-OFF CLOCK CALL (CLK)

This button is used to select the audio function (volume, bass, treble, balance, or fade) to be adjusted using the Level Control 2, as well as the indication (time or frequency/cassette/disc) shown on the display panel. Momentary presses of the button will change the display from radio frequency/cassette/disc indication to clock time. After 5 seconds, the display will automatically return to the priority setting.

During CD changer operation, a momentary press of the button will change the display from disc/track number to CD track elapsed time. Another press of the button will change to clock time. After 5 seconds, the display will automatically return to disc/track number if set to CD track display priority. If the unit has been set to clock time display priority, momentary presses of the button will change the display to CD disc/track number and then CD elapsed time. After 5 seconds, it will change back to clock time display. If the unit has been set to elapsed time priority, momentary

presses of the button will change the display to clock time and then CD disc/track number.

Additional momentary presses of the button will set the unit for bass adjustment (level number above “BAS” will flash on display panel), treble (level number above “TRE” will flash), balance (“BAL” on display), fader (“FAD”) or volume (level number). The display will automatically return to the normal indication 5 seconds after the last adjustment is made or when another function is activated. This unit can be set so that the radio frequency/cassette/disc indication (factory setting) or clock time will appear on the display panel as the priority setting. To change the priority setting, press and hold the Select button for 2 seconds until the display changes to the next indication. That indication will now be the priority setting and the display will automatically return to that indication after any radio, cassette, disc or audio function is displayed.

NOTE: When changing the display priority setting, release the button as soon as the display changes (approximately

2seconds). Holding the button in for too long will put the unit into time setting mode (flashing time display). See section on “Setting the Clock”.

To check the time with the vehicle ignition switch in the “off” position, momentarily press the Select button. The display will illuminate and show the time and then automatically shut off after 5 seconds.
