PRODUCT CARE

STANDARD GRILLE REMOVAL

MODELS 532, 542, 561, 511

AND 550

Remove center grille screw. Tilt the grille forward at the top and release the spring(s) from behind the grille and litt off. See Figure 20. To reinstall: reverse procedure.

PANELLIZED GRILLE REMOVAL

The optional panellized grille which is removed by litting up (1) and then pulling out at the bottom (2) and then down to release from the grille mounting bracket (3). See Figure 22.

IACAUTION I

Failure to properly clean this area could result in temperature loss, or possible mechanical failure in both refrigerator and freezer.

GRILLE REMOVAL MODELS 501F AND 501R

To remove grille, remove two black screws located in the lowest louver in the grille. Tilt the bottom of the grille out and away, it will release from the top of the grille. See Figure 21. To reinstall: reverse procedure.

CLEANING PROCEDURE

Use "soft" brislle brush and vacuum hose to remove the accumulation of dust and lint particles on the condenser (radiators). See Figure 23 lor Models 511,532,542,561,550 and 590 See Figure 24 for Models 501 F and 501 R.

INTERIOR: For cleaning of interior surfaces and removable parts of your refrigerator/freezer, wash with a mild solution of soap and lukewarm water to which a small amount of baking soda has been added. Use of vinegar is not recommended. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid getting water on lights or control dials.
