CARING FOR YOUR RANGE

The oven light

(right oven only)

The oven light will come on when you open the oven door. To turn on the light when the oven door is closed, press the Right Oven Manual Light Switch on the control panel. The bulb cover must be in place when using the oven. The cover protects the bulb from breaking, and from high oven tempera-

tures. Because the bulb cover is made of glass, be careful not to drop it.

To replace the oven light:

1.Unplug range or disconnect power.

2.Make sure the oven is cool before replacing the light bulb.

3. Remove the glass bulb cover in the back of the oven by pushing the wire holder to the side and pulling out the cover.

4. Remove the light bulb from its socket. Replace the bulb with a 40-watt appli- ance bulb.

5.Replace the bulb cover and snap the wire holder in place.

6.Plug in range or reconnect power.

NOTES:

Do not use the oven light during the Self-Cleaning cycle. Use during the Self-Cleaning cycle will shorten the life of the bulb.

The clock must be reset because power was disconnected during bulb replacement. See “Setting the clock” in the “UsingYour Range” section.
