VF 230 specifications

The Gaggenau VF 230 is a premium wine cabinet that represents the pinnacle of wine storage technology, designed for connoisseurs and collectors alike. This meticulously engineered appliance not only showcases a refined aesthetic but also incorporates advanced features that ensure optimal conditions for wine preservation.

One of the standout characteristics of the Gaggenau VF 230 is its temperature control capabilities. It operates with a dual-zone system, allowing users to maintain two separate environments within the same cabinet, essential for storing different types of wine. The upper zone can be set between 5°C and 20°C, ideal for whites and sparkling wines, while the lower zone accommodates reds, maintaining a consistent temperature range of 10°C to 20°C. This flexibility is vital for ensuring that each wine is served at its ideal drinking temperature.

In addition to temperature regulation, the VF 230 incorporates a state-of-the-art humidity control system. This feature is critical for preserving cork integrity, as excessive dryness can cause corks to shrink, leading to oxidation and spoilage. The humidity level within the cabinet is carefully monitored and maintained between 50% and 80%, creating a stable environment that protects the wine from undesirable fluctuations.

The design of the VF 230 emphasizes both functionality and elegance. Its exterior is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, while the interior features natural beech wood shelves that gently cradle each bottle, minimizing vibrations that can disturb sediment. The shelves are adjustable, providing versatility for varying bottle sizes, and the soft-close mechanism ensures a smooth, silent operation, enhancing user experience.

Lighting is another key feature of the Gaggenau VF 230. It utilizes an LED lighting system that illuminates the interior without emitting heat, which can negatively affect the wines. The lighting can be adjusted to showcase the collection beautifully while preserving the integrity of the wine.

Furthermore, the VF 230 is equipped with advanced filtering systems to keep the air inside the cabinet free of impurities and odors. This is critical for ensuring that the wine does not absorb unwanted scents, which could compromise its flavor.

In summary, the Gaggenau VF 230 wine cabinet combines cutting-edge technology with luxurious design, offering wine lovers an exceptional solution for preserving their prized collections. With its dual-zone temperature control, humidity management, elegant shelving, adjustable LED lighting, and air filtration, the VF 230 is the ultimate choice for those who appreciate wine at its finest.
