Loading the Silverware Basket

important

To prevent damage, do not load utensils and silverware made of different materials (for example silver and stainless steel) in the same compartment of the silverware basket.

For best results:

Do not nest utensils in the silverware basket.

Load silverware with the handles down.

Spread knives and large utensils out as much as possible.

Covered Compartment

To prevent small, light items from falling out of the rack when sprayed with water, put them in the covered compartment. To cover the compartment:

1.Put small items into one of the middle compartments of the silverware basket.

2.Lift up on the tab in the center of the basket to expose the cover.

3.Snap the cover shut over the compartment.

NOTE: For convenience, you may also insert silverware or small utensils into the slots on top of the covered compartment. Insert them with the handles down.
