NOTE:

1.Both the “COOL” and the “ADJ” tap must be set for the cooling CFM.

2.Fan only CFM = 63% of high speed cooling.

3.Low speed cooling used only with two stage outdoor units. (Speed is preset to 65% of high speed).

4.Dehumidification speed is 85% of cooling speed.

5.When operating in both heat pump and electric heat modes, the CFM will be whichever is greater.

6.CFM indicator light flashes once for every 100 CFM (i.e., 12 Flashes is 1200 CFM).

Normal

The normal setting provides a 30-second ramp-up from zero airflow to full capacity and a 30-second ramp-down from full capacity back to zero airflow. Whenever there is a change in airflow mode, such as a call for cooling or a change from low heat to high heat, the motor will take 30 seconds to ramp from one speed to the other.

Humid

The humid setting is best-suited for installations where the humidity is frequently very high during cooling season, such as in the southern part of the country. On a call for cooling, the blower will ramp up to 50% of full capacity and will stay there for two minutes, then will ramp up to 82% of full capac- ity and will stay there for five minutes, and then will ramp up to full capacity, where it will stay until the wall thermostat is satisfied. In every case, it will take the motor 30 seconds to ramp from one speed to another.

Dry

The dry setting is best suited to parts of the country where excessive humidity is not generally a problem, where the summer months are usually dry. On a call for cooling the motor will ramp up to full capacity and will stay there until the thermostat is satisfied. At the end of the cooling cycle, the blower will ramp down to 50% of full capacity where it will stay for 60 seconds. Then it will ramp down to zero. In every case, it will take the motor 30 seconds to ramp from one speed to another.

Temperate

The temperate setting is best suited for most of the country, where neither excessive humidity nor extremely dry condi- tions are the norm. On a call for cooling, the motor will ramp up to 63% of full capacity and will stay there for 90 seconds, then will ramp up to full capacity. At the end of the cooling cycle, the motor will ramp down to 63% of full capacity and will stay there for 30 seconds, then will ramp down to zero. In every case, it will take the motor 30 seconds to ramp from one speed to another.

F*FV, F*FP specifications

York F*FV and F*FP are two advanced HVAC systems designed for commercial and industrial applications, delivering optimized performance and energy efficiency. These models are part of York's commitment to innovative climate control solutions that meet the diverse needs of modern buildings.

The F*FV series is known for its flexible configurations, catering to various indoor environments. This series is engineered with powerful variable-speed fans that adjust airflow according to real-time demand, ensuring not only comfort but also significant energy savings. The integration of advanced inverter technology allows for precise control of compressor speed, which results in lower energy consumption while maintaining stable temperature conditions.

On the other hand, the F*FP series is distinguished by its high cooling and heating capacities, making it suitable for larger facilities such as manufacturing plants and data centers. These systems utilize scroll compressors, which are recognized for their reliability and quiet operation. The F*FP's design prioritizes easy maintenance, with service access points strategically placed to minimize downtime.

Both series utilize advanced refrigerants that comply with environmental regulations, ensuring that users can expect eco-friendly operation. The systems are equipped with intelligent control features, including Wi-Fi connectivity and remote monitoring capabilities. This allows facility managers to oversee operations and make adjustments in real time, leading to enhanced energy management and operational efficiency.

York has equipped both F*FV and F*FP systems with comprehensive diagnostic tools. These features aid technicians in troubleshooting and maintaining the systems, thereby extending their lifespan and ensuring optimal performance. The user-friendly interfaces make it simple for operators to navigate system settings, monitor performance metrics, and receive alerts for maintenance needs.

Notably, both series are designed with robust construction to withstand harsh operating conditions while providing low noise levels, an essential characteristic for environments where minimal disturbance is critical. The systems are also versatile, supporting various installation types, including rooftop, split, and packaged configurations.

In summary, York’s F*FV and F*FP series stand out in the HVAC market, offering a combination of energy efficiency, cutting-edge technology, and ease of use. These systems provide reliable climate control to meet the evolving needs of commercial and industrial spaces, ensuring comfort while promoting sustainability. Whether it’s the versatility of the F*FV or the high capacity of the F*FP, York delivers solutions that enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
