Before starting your dishwasher

1.Spin the Upper Spray Arm to make sure nothing will stop it from turning freely.

2.Close the door. Do not latch it. If it latches, press in the door latch under the Control Panel to unlatch.

3.Run hot water at sink nearest dishwasher until it is hot. Turn if off.

OPTION SELECTOR BUTTONS

Starting your dishwasher

1.Push a Clean Selector Button for the de- sired cycle.

2.Push Option Selector Button for desired option or options. (Use AIR DRY for RINSE & HOLD Cycle.]

3.Turn Cycle Control Knob clockwise to point to a desired cycle. You will feel a definite stop at each cycle mark.

-POTS & PANS and HEAVY WASH Cycles share the same spot on the dial. The Clean Selector Button determines which cycle operates.

4.Push door firmly to latch it. The dish-

washer will automatically start the se- lected cycle.

The AIR DRY Option

Air in the dishwasher is automatically heated during the “dry” pat-t of all cycles.

If the AIR DRY Option is selected, air in the dishwasher is not heated. Using this option helps save energy, but dishes take longer to dry (over- night] and some water spotting may result.

HI-TEMP WASHING Option

When this option is selected, water for the main wash and the final rinse is heated to145”F (63°C).

Using DELAY START

1.Push desired Clean Selector Button.

2.Push desired Option Selector Buttons.

3.Turn Control Knob clockwise to the number of hours (from 1 to 6 hours) you want the dish- washer to delay before the selected cycle starts

To add a dish after starting

1.To be sure the added item is washed and rinsed, make sure the Cycle Control Knob has not passed LOW ENERGY WASH.

2.Unlatch the doorto stop the cycle.

3.Open the door and add the dish.

The CLEAN Signal Light

The CLEAN Signal Light will come on when a washing cycle is complete.

Some items (such as plastics] may need towel drying.

For best results, use a liquid rinse aid such as Jet-Dry:”

If the water is alreadv hot enouah. the cvcle continues without delay. The WATER HEAYING HOLD Signal Light will be on while the cycle de- lays for water heating.

4.Close and latch the door. The DELAY WASH Signal Light will come on until the selected cfcle St&s.

NOTES:

l You can add items while time is counting down. Close and latch the door. The timer will not advance if the door is unlatched.

lRINSE & HOLD and LOW ENERGY WASH Cycles can’t be delayed.

4.Close the door. Do not latch it. Wait 30 sec- onds for air in the dishwasher to warm up. This helps reduce the amount of moisture that can come from the vent when restart- ing the cycle.

5.Latch the door. The dishwasher will start from where it stopped.

To turn it off. Turn the Control Knob clockwise

slightly until the light goes off Do not pull out the Control Knob.
