SLOW COOK

The AUTO SENSOR Slow Cook (number 0) setting is similar to a slow cooker. The oven will automatically cook, simmer and keep food warm at different preset cook powers for a minimum of 2-4 hours or a maximum of 12 hours (including Keep Warm). If you find that food needs a longer cooking time than the setting allows, you may extend the time by touching the MORE (number 9) Pad after you have touched SLOW COOK. The LESS(number 7) Pad cannot be used with this cycle.

Using SLOW COOK

1.Touch AUTO SENSOR.“AS” will be displayed and the Auto Sensor indicator will come on.

2.Touch number pad 0 (SLOW COOK).‘AS-0” will be displayed.

3.Touch number pad 9 (MORE) if you wish to extend the cooking time. If not, skip to Step 4.

4.Touch START.

Two beeps WIII sound at the end of the automatic portion of the cooking cycle and “SL-C”will show on the Display. This tells you the door can be opened to stir, turn or add ingredients, if desired. When the

food is done, you will hear four beeps and the oven will automatically keep the food warm forthe remainder of the 12 hour cycle, or until you are ready to serve. Touch CANCEL when food is removed from the oven

All AUTO SENSOR cooking categories have preset Cook Powers.

The COOK POWER Indicator Light does not come on during AUTO SENSOR Cycles. No Cook or Temperature cycles can be used with AUTO SENSOR Cycles.

Quick Defrost and Keep Warm may be used with any AUTO SENSOR selection except SLOW COOK. Auto Start may be used with all Auto Sensor categories.

. Pause may be used with any AUTO SENSOR selection. It will stop the oven between the first and second part of the cycle. See “Using PAUSE:’ page 19.

l “Err”will show on the Display if the door is opened during the first part of any AUTO SENSOR cycle. “Err”will also show on the Display if AUTO SENSOR malfunctions. Touch CANCEL to clear the Display. Do not reset AUTO SENSOR. The food may overcook or undercook. To finish cooking food, estimate the

remaining cooking time. Reset the oven using the COOK cycle and approximate Cook Power setting.
