General Information

If your electric power lrne voltage is less than the nor- mal 120 volts, cooking times may be longer.

To test a dish for safe use, put it into the oven with a cup of water beside it. Cook for one minute. It the dlsh gets hot and water stays cool do not use it.

If time is left on the timer when you remove food from the oven, turn the timer to “OFF” before closing the door.

This prevents the oven from operating.

If you need service or assistance,

we suggest you follow these four steps:

1.Before calling for assistance...

Performance problems often result from little things you can find and fix yourself without tools of any kind.

If nothlng operates:

l Is the power supply cord plugged into a live

circuit with proper voltage? (See page 8.)

l Have you checked your home’s main fuses or circuit breaker box?

It the microwave oven will not run:

lIs the timer set?

l Is the door firmly closed and latched? l Did you follow the directions exactly?

If the microwave cooking times seem too long:

l Is the electric supply to your home low or lower than normal? Your electric company can tell you if the line voltage is low,

l Are you allowing for more time when cooking more food at one time?
