Using the defrost water

(on some models)

Use the defrost water drain when defrosting and cleaning your freezer. Replace defrost water drain cover when you are finished defrosting.

To open drain for use:

1.Remove drain cover by pulling it straight out.

2.Insert the hose adapter (provided) into the drain outlet.

3.Remove the rubber stopper from inside the bottom of the freezer.

NOTE: Place a pan under the drain, or attach a hose to the threaded end of the hose adapter and direct the water into a separate drain.

To close drain after use:

1.Remove the hose adapter.

2.Replace the rubber stopper in bottom of freezer.

3.Replace the drain cover.
