ISLAND HOOD INSTALLATION

STEP 1

Locate the center above the stove where the hood is to be installed. Ensure that the bracket will be se- cured to solid wood backing. Install the duct work in the center of the bracket. Secure the upper end of the bracket to the ceiling.

STEP 2

Attach the draft damper to the top of hood base. This will prevent out- side air from entering your home.

STEP 3

Using the screws provided, attach the lower portion of the chimney to the motor.
