Cleaning the motor housing:

1.UNPLUG THE MOTOR FROM THE POWER SOURCE!

2.Wipe down the exterior surface of the motor with a cloth soaked in a sanitiz- ing solution. DO NOT submerge the motor in water!

Reduce the risk of electrocution by keeping all connections dry. DO NOT touch plugs with wet hands. DO NOT submerge in water. Failure to follow these warning could result in seri- ous injury.

Lubrication:

The Model H6248 requires very little lubri- cation. The following steps on the grinder head parts will keep them moving freely and keep them from oxidizing.

1.Be sure to use a non-vegetable base, food service lubricant on this machine.

2.Place a small drop of lubricant on the front and rear flats on the shaft of the feed screw.

3.Apply a thin film of lubricant to the cut- ter dies to prevent them from rusting.
