Vacation and Moving Tips
oLeave refrigerator operating during vacations of 3 weeks or less.
• Use all perishable items from refrigerator compartment.
•Turn automatic ice maker off and empty ice bucket, even if you will only be gone for a few days.
•Remove all food and ice if you will be gone one month or more.
°Turn the cooling system off ( see page 8 for On/Off button position) and disconnect power.
•Turn off automatic ice maker and turn water supply valve to closed position.
•Clean interior thoroughly.
•Leave both doors open to prevent odors and mold
°Remove all food and ice.
•If using handcart, load from side.
•Adjust rollers all the way up to protect them during sliding or moving.
•Pad cabinet to avoid scratching surface.
the ice and water system must be drained completely, Fa!lure to do so could result in water leaks when the refrigerator is put back into Service. Contact a service representative to perform this operation.
