Important information

A defective machine is not safe and could cause injury or fire. To avoid damage and any associated risk of injury or fire:

pNever allow the power cable to trail, as someone could trip over the power cable and/or it could get damaged.

pProtect your IMPRESSA from environmental influences such as rain, frost and direct sunlight.

pDo not put the IMPRESSA, cable or connections in water.

pDo not put the IMPRESSA or any individual parts in the dish- washer.

pTurn your IMPRESSA off at the power switch before starting any cleaning operation. Always wipe your IMPRESSA with a damp cloth rather than a wet one, and protect it from pro- longed water splash.

pOnly connect the machine to a power supply in accordance with the technical data. (See rating plate and Chapter 15, “Technical data and guide values”)

pUse only original JURA care products. Use of accessories that are not explicitly recommended by JURA could damage the

IMPRESSA.

pDo not use any coffee beans treated with additives or caramel- ised coffee beans.

pAlways fill the water tank with cold, fresh mains water.

pIf you will be absent for an extended period, turn the machine off and unplug.

pKeep this manual close to the IMPRESSA and, if appropriate, pass it on to the next user.
