How To Assemble The Wheels And Axle Bolts (Figure 6)
NOTE: If you cannot attach the recoil--start grip because the rope is too short, hold the engine stop lever against the handle. Slowly pull the recoil--start grip.
WARNING: The blade will rotate when the engine runs.
7. (Figure 5) Attach the recoil--start grip (1) and rope to the right or left side of the handle with the rope guide (2). Fasten with a lock- nut (3).
CAUTION: If a cable fastener is missing, a cable can be too near the muffler. Heat from the muffler can damage the cable. Before you use the unit, replace a missing cable fastener.
3. Attach the engine stop cable (5) to the en- gine stop lever (1).
4. (Figure 3) Attach the engine stop cable (1) to the engine.
5. Make sure the engine stop cable (1) moves freely. If the engine stop cable (1) does not move freely, repeat the above steps.
6. (Figure 4) Attach the engine stop cable (5) to the handle with the cable fasteners (6).
2. Attach the engine stop cable (5) to the han- dle (2).
CAUTION: Rotate blade to remove sharp edges away from work areas. Use gloves.
2. (Figure 2) Assemble the upper handle to the lower handle with bolts (1) and nuts (2).

MD2045FC specifications

The Murray MD2045FC is a highly regarded self-propelled lawn mower that combines power, efficiency, and user-friendly features, catering to both residential and professional landscapers. This walk-behind mower stands out due to its robust, lightweight design, ensuring ease of handling while delivering exceptional cutting performance.

One of the most remarkable features of the MD2045FC is its powerful 140cc OHV engine. This four-stroke engine not only guarantees reliability but also offers ample torque for cutting through thick grass and uneven terrains. The air filter and oil filter enhance maintenance ease while ensuring long-lasting performance, making this mower an ideal choice for those looking for both durability and efficiency.

In terms of cutting performance, the MD2045FC features a 20-inch cutting deck, providing a wide swath that reduces mowing time significantly. The deck is constructed from a durable steel material, designed to withstand the wear and tear of regular lawn care. A notable aspect of its cutting capabilities is the adjustable cutting height feature, which allows users to choose from six different positions, ranging from 1 inch to 3.5 inches. This versatility ensures that the mower can handle various grass types and lawn conditions, accommodating individual user preferences.

Additionally, the Murray MD2045FC is equipped with a reliable self-propelled system, making it easier to navigate across uneven surfaces and inclines without excessive manual effort. The rear-wheel drive configuration further enhances maneuverability, allowing for smooth handling around obstacles such as flowerbeds and trees.

A special mention should be made of the convenient foldable handle design that promotes compact storage. This feature is especially beneficial for users with limited storage space, as it allows for easy transport and stowing away after use. The mower also comes with a mulching capability, enabling users to finely cut grass clippings that can naturally fertilize the lawn when left on the ground.

Overall, the Murray MD2045FC stands as a strong contender in the self-propelled mower market, delivering a perfect balance of power, user-friendly features, and versatility. With its reliable engine, adjustable cutting height, and convenient storage, this mower is designed to meet the needs of both novice and seasoned lawn care enthusiasts, ensuring a well-maintained lawn with minimal effort.
