IN-LINE FUEL FILTER
The fuel filter should be replaced once each season. If fuel filter becomes
clogged, obstructing fuel flow to carbure- tor, replacement is required.
•With engine cool, remove filter and plug fuel line sections.
•Place new fuel filter in position in fuel
line with arrow pointing towards carburetor.
•Be sure there are no fuel line leaks and clamps are properly positioned.
•Immediately wipe up any spilled gasoline.

CLEANING
•Clean engine, battery, seat, finish, etc. of all foreign matter.
•Keep finished surfaces and wheels free of all gasoline, oil, etc.
•Protect painted surfaces with automo- tive type wax.
We do not recommend using a garden hose to clean your tractor unless the electrical system, muffler, air filter and carburetor are covered to keep water out.
Water in engine can result in a short- ened engine life.
_CAUTION: Before performinq any service or adjustments:
•Depress clutch/brake pedal fu71yand set parking brake.
•Place motion control lever in neutral (N) position•
•Place attachment clutch in "DISENGAGED" position,
•Turn ignition key "OFF" and remove key.
•Make sure the blades and all moving parts have completely stopped•
•Disconnect spark plug wire from spark plug and place wire where it cannot come in contact with plug.
TRACTOR
TO REMOVE MOWER
Mower will be easier to remove from the right side of tractor.
•Place attachment clutch in "DISEN-
GAGED" position.
•Move attachment lift lever forward to lower mower to its lowest position.
Roll belt off engine pulley.
Remove small retainer spring, and lift clutch spdng off pulley bolt.

•Remove large retainer spring, slide
collar off and push housing guide out of bracket.
•Disconnect
•Disconnect suspension arms from rear deck brackets by removing retainer
