2 - Service more often when operating in dirty or dusty conditions.

3 - Replace blades more often when mowing in sandy soil. 4 - Not required if equipped with maintenance-free battery. 5 - Tighten front axle pivot bolt to 35 ft.-Ibs, maximum.

Do not overtighten.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

The warranty on this tractor does not cover items that have been subjected to operatorabuse or negligence. To receive full value from the warranty, operator must maintain tractor as instructed in this manual.

Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to properly maintain your tractor.

All adjustments in the Service and Adjustments section of this manual should be checked at least once each season.

Once a year you should replace the spark plug, clean or replace air filter, and check blades and belts forwear. A new spark plug and clean air filter assure properair-fuel mixture and helpyourengine run better and last longer.

FEEL THEY MUST BE LUBRICATED, USE ONLY A DRY, POW-

15 DERED GRAPHITE TYPE LUBRICANT SPARINGLY.
