TO ADJUST STEERING WHEEL ALIGNMENT

if steering wheel crossbars are not horizontal (left to right) when wheels are positioned straight forward, remove steer-

ing wheel and reassemble per instructions in the Assembly section of this manual

FRONT WHEEL TOE=IN/CAMBER

The front wheel toe-in and camber are not adjustable on your tractor. If damage has occurred to affect the front wheet toe-in or camber, contact your nearest authorized service center/department_

TO REMOVE CABLES, REVERSE ORDER

-BLACK cable first from chassis and then from the fully charge d battery.

RED cable last from both batteries.

TO REMOVE WHEEL FOR REPAIRS (See Fig. 28)

. Block up axle securely

=Remove axle cover, retaining ring and washers to allow wheel removaf (rear whee! contains a square key - Do not lose),

. Repair'tire and reassemble_

°On rear wheels only: align grooves in rear wheel hub and axle_ Insert square key

. Replace washers and snap retaining ring securely in axle groove.

o Replace axle cover

If your battery is too weak to start the engine, it should be recharged. If "jumper cables" are used for emergency starting, follow this procedure:

TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB

°Raise hood

°Pull bulb holder out of the hole in the backside of the grill

o Replace bulb in holder and push bulb holder securely back into the hole in the backside of the gritL

. Close hood°

INTERLOCKS AND RELAYS

Loose or damaged wiring may cause your tractor to run poorly, stop running, or prevent it from starting

-Check wiring See electrical wiring diagram in the Repair Parts section of this manual°

TO REPLACE FUSE

Replace with 30 amp automotive-type plug-in fuse. The fuse holder is located behind the dash,

. Raise hood.

Unsnap headlight wire connector°

=Stand in front of tractor',G rasp hood at sides, tilt toward engine and lift off of tractor,

. To replace, reverse above procedure.

IMPORTANT: YOUR TRACTORIS EQUIPPED WITH A t2 VOLT NEGATIVE GROUNDED SYSTEM THE OTHER VEHICLE MUST ALSO BE A I2 VOLT NEGATIVE GROUNDED SYSTEM. DO NOT USE YOUR TRACTOR BATTERY TO START OTHER VEHICLES

TO ATTACH JUMPER CABLES -

-Connect each end of the RED cable to the POSITIVE

(+)terminal of each battery, taking care not to short against chassis.

oConnect one end of the BLACK cable to the NEGA- TIVE (-) terminal of fully charged battery.

Connect the other end of the BLACK cable to good CHASSIS GROUND, away from fuel tank and battery. 22
