TROUBLESHOO NG POINTS

CAUSECORRECTION

Engine continues to			run	1..	Faulty operator-safety presence control system
when	operator	leaves	seat
with	attachment	clutch
engaged
Poor cut - uneven				1.	Worn,	bent	or loose blade..
				2	Mower	deck	notlevel.
				3	Buildup of grass,			leaves, and trash under mower
				4	Bent blade		mandrel
				5..	Clogged mower			deck vent holes from buildup of
					grass, leaves, and trash around mandrels
Mower blades		will not		1	Obstruction		in clutch mechanism
rotate				2	Worn/damaged			mower drive belt.
				3.	Frozen	idler pulley
				4	Frozen	blade mandre!

1Check wiring, switches and connections, If not corrected, contact an authorized service facility

1Repiace blade. Tighlen blade bolt.

2Level mower deck

3Clean underside of mower'housing

4Replace blade mandrel

5Clean around mandrels to open vent hoies

3Replace idler pulley.

1Place throttle controf in "FAST" position.

2Shift to slower speed.

3Allow grass todry before mowing..

4Level mower deck

5Check tires for proper air pressure.

6Replace/sharpen blade.. Tighten blade bolt.

7Clean underside of mower housing,

8Replace mower drive bett

9 Reinstall blades sharp edge down

10 Replace with blades listed in this manual,

1t Clean around mandrels to open vent holes

1 Turn swilch "ON".

2Replace bulb(s).

3Check/replace light switch..

4Check wiring and connections

5 Replace fuse.

Battery will not charge	1	Bad battery		cell(s)
	2.	Poor cable		connections
	3..	Faulty	regulator (if so equipped).
	4.	Faulty	alternator.
Engine "backfires"	1,.	Engine	throttle control not set at "SLOW"
Engine "backfires"		Engine	throttle control not set at "SLOW"
when turning engine		position for		30 seconds before stopping engine
"OFF"

t Replace battery

2Check/clean all connections

3Replace regulator

4.Replace alternator

1.Move throttle control to "SLOW" position and attow to idle for 30 seconds before stopping engine
