Read and follow instructions exactly as shown. If instructions are unclear, do not proceed. Contact a qualified electrician. Read all instructions before beginning. Proper wiring is essential for safe operation of this fix- ture. When cutting or drilling into walls or ceilings, do not damage electri- cal wiring, gas lines, or water lines. If any of the fixture or wiring compo- nents are damaged, do not install fixture. Return to place of purchase.

For fixtures provided with 75° C or 90° C supply wire warning only. (These warnings are provided on the U.L. label and on the fixture carton.) Risk of fire. Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wires rated 60° C.

Consult a qualified electrician before installing.

NOTE: For fixture employing a grounded convenience outlet. This fixture employs a grounded type receptacle and is not intended for connection to a two wire ungrounded source of supply.

Applicable only to portable lamps:

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, all portable lamps have a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If plug does not fit, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully plugged into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug.

W-125 specifications

The Westinghouse W-125 is a notable power generation turbine designed for the modern energy landscape, integrating advanced technologies that enhance its efficiency and reliability. Developed by Westinghouse Electric Corporation, this turbine exemplifies cutting-edge engineering, emphasizing performance and sustainability in power generation.

At the heart of the W-125's design is its high-efficiency combustion system. By employing advanced fuel injection technologies, the turbine optimizes the air-fuel mix, resulting in improved combustion efficiency. This not only leads to higher output but also reduces emissions, aligning with global environmental standards. The W-125 is capable of operating on a variety of fuels, including natural gas and light distillates, providing flexibility for power producers.

The turbine’s aerodynamic design significantly contributes to its performance metrics. With its optimized rotor and stator configurations, the W-125 minimizes aerodynamic losses, thereby maximizing the energy extracted from the combustion process. This feature is crucial for power plants aiming to increase their output while maintaining operational costs.

One of the standout characteristics of the W-125 is its modular design. This allows for easier maintenance and upgrades, enabling operators to implement technological advancements as they become available without needing to replace the entire system. This flexibility is particularly valuable in today’s rapidly evolving energy market, where adaptation is essential for competitiveness and efficiency.

The control systems integrated into the W-125 are state-of-the-art, employing advanced algorithms for real-time monitoring and optimization. This ensures that the turbine operates at peak efficiency under varying load conditions, making it an ideal choice for both baseload and peak load applications. Additionally, the turbine is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, which facilitate predictive maintenance and reduce downtime.

Noise reduction technologies have also been considered in the W-125’s design. With sound-dampening features, the turbine operates quietly, minimizing its environmental impact, which is crucial for installations near populated areas.

Overall, the Westinghouse W-125 stands out with its combination of efficiency, flexibility, and advanced technologies. It represents a significant step forward in turbine design, catering to the demands of modern energy production while promoting sustainability and economic viability. As energy needs continue to evolve globally, the W-125 is poised to play a crucial role in shaping the future of power generation.
