BOLT TORQUE CHART

Always tighten hardware to these values unless a different torque value or tightening procedure is listed for a specific application.

Fasteners must always be replaced with the same grade as specified in the manual parts list.

Always use the proper tool for tightening hardware: SAE for SAE hardware and Metric for metric hardware. Make sure fastener threads are clean and you start thread engagement properly.

All torque values are given to specifications used on hardware defined by SAE J1701 MAR 99 & J1701M JUL 96.

BSE5, RBE4, RBE5 specifications

Woods Equipment has established itself as a prominent name in the agricultural and landscaping equipment industry, and their range of rotary cutters, particularly the RBE5, BSE5, and RBE4 models, showcases the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation.

The Woods RBE5 rotary cutter is designed for light to medium-duty applications. Its robust construction ensures durability, while the 5-foot cutting width allows for efficient operation in a variety of environments. The RBE5 features a rugged frame with a reinforced deck, providing the strength needed to tackle tough brush and tall grass. Additionally, it comes equipped with a belt-driven design, which enhances cutting performance and reduces maintenance time. The adjustable tailwheel offers improved maneuverability, allowing operators to navigate uneven terrain with ease, making it an ideal choice for landscaping professionals and property owners alike.

The BSE5 model takes versatility up a notch, specifically catering to those who require a compact rotary cutter. With similar durability and construction to the RBE5, the BSE5 is perfect for smaller tractors, providing a cutting width of 5 feet that can handle a wide range of brush and weeds. This model features a heavy-duty, all-steel construction that ensures long-lasting performance. The BSE5 also integrates a quick hitch design, allowing for convenient attachment and detachment. This means operators can quickly switch between tasks, streamlining workflow and increasing productivity on the job site.

The RBE4, on the other hand, is a smaller version, specifically designed for compact tractors. This 4-foot rotary cutter maintains the same design philosophy as its counterparts, combining durability with efficiency. The RBE4’s low-profile design allows for easy maneuvering in tight spaces, making it an excellent option for small farms or landscaping projects. Featuring a heavy-duty gear box and a smooth deck design, this model minimizes the risk of clumping and ensures an even cut.

All three models incorporate Woods Equipment’s notable safety features. The sheer bolt protection helps prevent damage to the cutter and tractor during unforeseen encounters with obstacles. Additionally, the reinforced skirt design not only adds to the structural integrity but also enhances operator safety by minimizing thrown debris.

Overall, the RBE5, BSE5, and RBE4 rotary cutters from Woods Equipment highlight the brand's dedication to delivering reliable, efficient, and safe solutions for various cutting needs in agricultural and landscaping applications. Their combination of innovative technologies and user-friendly features makes them valuable assets for professionals in the field.
