Make sure the tow vehicle parking brake is set, mower is level, and blades are disengaged.

Check spark plug wire, oil, and fuel.

Check all electrical connections (See Schematics).

Make sure toggle switch is turned “ON” and the red tether is properly attached.

Set engine idle to “CHOKE” position.

With feet clear of mower deck, turn key switch to the “START” position; [ if unit is equipped with 12 volt system ] release when engine begins to run.

For units NOT equipped with electric start turn key to “ON” position and pull starter Rope until engine starts.

Set engine idle at desired RPM.

BREAKING IN YOUR MOWER

Set vehicle parking brake or chock wheels to prevent accidental rolling.

Start engine properly.

Slowly, engage blade control.

In a safe environment, i.e. no children, allow blades to rotate and engine to idle for 5 minutes. This breaks in the belts and the engine.

Stop mower properly.

CAUTION!

SHUT OFF MOWER ENGINE AND REMOVE SPARK PLUG WIRE FROM

SPARK PLUG BEFORE MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE MOWER.

MOWER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Adjust while mower is not running.

The cutting range is approximately 1.5” to 4.5”. The height has been measured from the ground to the blade tip without the engine running.

Rotate height adjust crank handles (H7N) in a clockwise direction to lift the mower deck. A counter-clockwise direction is used to lower the mower deck.

Make sure the height adjustment is the same at side crank handles. For best results, see “SUGGESTED PRACTICE” section. Graduated scales are for reference only, not the actual cutter height.

Place crank handle in a retracted position to maintain height adjustment.

STARTING TO MOW

Adjust the cutting height.

Double check vehicle to mower attachment.

Start mower engine properly.

Slowly, activate the blade engage lever (6008) by rotating it forward and left until the lever locks into place.

Carefully mount tow vehicle and start mowing slowly.

The Swisher T1360 series, including models T1360T, T1360B1, T1360H, T1360K, T13560, RK1360, T14560, and T17560, stands as a testament to advanced engineering and innovation in the area of outdoor power equipment. These models cater to a variety of applications, including landscaping, property maintenance, and environmental management.

The T1360T model is designed for efficient mowing and landscaping tasks. It features a powerful 14.5 HP engine that provides the necessary torque to tackle tall grasses and overgrown areas with ease. The 60-inch cutting deck ensures a wide coverage, minimizing the number of passes required to achieve a clean cut. Its industrial-grade construction means that it is built to withstand heavy-duty use without compromising performance.

On the other hand, the T1360B1 focuses on versatility. This model integrates a rugged frame that can accommodate various attachments such as snow plows, rakes, and sprayers, making it suitable for year-round use. The ease of attachment and detachment allows users to adapt quickly to seasonal demands.

The T1360H series takes performance a step further by including Hydra-Gear transmissions, which enable smooth maneuverability on uneven terrain. This model is particularly advantageous for hilly properties, as it ensures users maintain control even when navigating steep slopes.

For those looking for a more compact solution, the T1360K offers numerous features in a smaller package. Despite its size, it retains a robust engine and durable construction, striking a balance between ease of use and high performance.

The T13560 and RK1360 are ideal for heavier duty applications. They come with reinforced cutting decks and enhanced suspension systems that help resist impact from uneven surfaces. These models are particularly useful for commercial landscapers looking to optimize efficiency and output.

The T14560 and T17560 models further enhance the lineup with increased horsepower and cutting capabilities. They are engineered to perform in the toughest mowing conditions, handling everything from dense vegetation to thick weeds. The 17.5 HP engine in the T17560, for example, allows for exceptional cutting speed and productivity.

Across the entire lineup, features such as operator comfort, ergonomic controls, and easy maintenance open new frontiers in user experience. With enhanced safety features ensuring operator protection, the Swisher T1360 series has set new benchmarks in the outdoor power equipment industry. Overall, these models exemplify versatility, durability, and ease of use, making them an excellent choice for both professional landscapers and homeowners alike.
