How To Set Up Your Wireless Thermometer

Place the receiver unit as close as possible to the remote unit. This will ensure easy synchronization between the transmission and reception of signals as you set up your wireless thermometer. After set up is completed, position the receiver unit and remote unit within effective transmission range.

Note: The effective range is vastly affected by the building materials and where the receiver and remote units are positioned. Try various set ups for the best results. Shorten the distance between receiver and remote units when necessary.

Important: Though the remote unit is weather proof, it should be placed away from direct sunlight, rain, snow and should never be submerged in water.

Power Sources

Important: Insert the power supply cord into the home receiver first, then install batteries into the remote unit:

Home Receiver

1.Insert the AC adaptor jack into the back of the unit, then insert the cord into a 120V household outlet.

2.Three AAA alkaline batteries may be used as a back up or alternate power source: Lift off the battery compartment on the back of the unit, install 3 alkaline AAA batteries according to the polarity indicated, and close the battery cover. Note: to conserve battery power, the LCD screen will not be continuously lit when the receiver unit is running only on batteries. To view the screen, press the Snooze/Light button on the front of the receiver unit.

Remote Sensor

1.Lift off the bracket stand, located on the back of the unit, to access the battery compartment cover.

2.Remove the 4 screws that secure the battery compartment cover and then remove the cover.

3.Select the Channel setting by sliding the CH switch to Channel 1 to

register the first sensor, included in this package.

Note: Maximum 3 remote sensor units can be registered. Should you purchase one or two additional remote units (Model 1438, sold separately) to expand your thermometer monitoring capabilities to multiple locations, slide the CH switch to Channel 2 to register the second sensor and select Channel 3 to register the third sensor.

1506 specifications

The Taylor 1506 is a guitar that epitomizes the balance between craftsmanship, aesthetics, and superior sound performance. Designed to cater to both seasoned musicians and enthusiastic beginners, this model offers an impressive set of features that make it a standout choice in the crowd of acoustic guitars.

One of the most notable characteristics of the Taylor 1506 is its body shape. The Grand Symphony design creates a broad and dynamic sound, offering a larger sonic profile that is ideal for strumming and flatpicking. This shape not only enhances volume but also provides a stellar projection that is essential for live performances.

The tonewoods used in the Taylor 1506 contribute significantly to its rich sound. The guitar typically features solid Sitka spruce for the top, paired with Indian rosewood for the back and sides. This combination creates a balanced tone with bright highs, warm mids, and a pronounced low end. The solid top allows the guitar to improve in tone and resonance over time, making it even more appealing as it ages.

In terms of technology, Taylor's Expression System 2 (ES2) is an innovative feature included in many 1506 models. This built-in pickup system captures the guitar's natural sound with unparalleled accuracy, ensuring that performers can amplify their music without losing the essence of the acoustic tone. The ES2 system enhances the overall performance capability of the guitar, making it perfect for both stage and studio setups.

The neck of the Taylor 1506 is crafted from tropical mahogany, featuring a comfortable profile that facilitates ease of playability. The smooth satin finish allows for quick hand movements up and down the fretboard, while a rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of elegance and responsiveness to the playing experience. The guitar is often fitted with a strictly aesthetic yet functional element: the single-ring rosette and elegant binding work together to make it visually stunning.

Furthermore, Taylor’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in their choice of materials and manufacturing processes. The firm sources woods responsibly and minimizes waste, ensuring that each guitar is not only a work of art but an environmentally conscious product.

Overall, the Taylor 1506 is a versatile guitar that combines stunning craftsmanship with high-quality sound and innovative technology. Whether you are playing at home, in the studio, or on stage, it delivers a rich acoustic experience that is hard to match. With its exquisite detailing, premium material selection, and remarkable performance features, the Taylor 1506 stands as a testament to the quality that Taylor Guitars is renowned for.
