LISTENING TO FM STEREO

BROADCASTS

¡During FM broadcasts, press the FM MODE button t to select the auto stereo mode.

¡Each time this button is pressed, the mode changes as follows.

stereo mode

: STEREO indicator lights up.

monaural mode : STEREO indicator goes off.

¡When listening to very weak FM stereo stations, you may experience higher than normal background hiss Switch to monaural sound to eliminate the hiss.

PLAYBACK OPERATION

Normal playback

1.Press the POWER switch !0to turn on the power.

2.Press the desired input selector y according to the table shown below.

3.Start playing the desired source.

Adjust the volume using the VOLUME control i.

If necessary, adjust the tone using the BASS and TREBLE controls !3and !4.

¡RECORDING WITH A CASSETTE DECK

Recording with TAPE 1

1.Select the program source to be record with the INPUT FUNCTION SELECTOR buttons y.

2.Start recording on the cassette deck connected to the TAPE 1 jacks.

3.The volume, balance, bass and treble setting have no effect on the recording or dubbing.
