17. WARNING! Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other

construction activities, contain chemicals known (to the State of California) to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are: lead from lead-based paints, crystalline silica from bricks and cement or other masonry products, arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber. Your risk from these exposures varies, depend- ing on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.

UNPACKING

When unpacking, check to make sure all the parts shown in the Parts List on page 8 are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the front cover of this manual as soon as possible.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1.Always wear eye protection. Wear ANSI approved safety impact goggles when using this product.

Always wear hand protection. Saw teeth are extremely sharp. Handle

2.with extreme care, and always wear heavy duty work gloves. In addition, wear an ANSI approved hard hat and steel toe boots for additional protec- tion.

3.Check to make sure there are no children, adults, or animals in the area.

4.Place the Chain (6) around the tree limb to be cut. Make sure there are no kinks in the Chain and that the chain links are not doubled up.

5.Decide what tree limb you want to cut, and plan where you want to stand so you are clear of falling limbs.
