INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING
1. CAUTION! Make sure to wear ANSI approved safety impact goggles and heavy work gloves before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning of the Hand Chain Saw.
2.Before each use: Inspect the general condition of the Hand Chain Saw.
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, damaged or loose parts, dull Chain, and any other condition that may affect the tool’s safe operation. If a problem occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.
Do not use damaged equipment.
3.Always keep the Chain clean and sharp. Keep the Chain well oiled to prevent rust. Use lightweight machine oil or similar weight oil for best results. Until the Chain needs replacing, sharpen the Chain as you would a conventional saw chain with a 5/32” file (not included).
