5.1-channel connection

Front A/B connection

For 5.1-channel playback, set “Amp Assign” in “Set up speakers” (vpage 37) to “Normal”.

The second set of front speakers can be connected to the FRONT B/HEIGHT terminals.

 

In this case, set “Front Speaker Setup” (vpage 58) of “Speaker Setup” to “B” or “A+B”.

For surround playback of a multichannel source, if you connect the center speaker, surround speakers, surround back speakers and subwoofers, 7.1-channel playback is available.

Front speakers can be used separately, depending on the speaker’s specifications or playback source such as front speakers (A) for multichannel playback and front speakers (B) for 2-channel playback (vpage 58 “Front Speaker Setup”).

NOTE

When using speakers A and B at the same time, check the impedance of the connected speakers (vpage 4).
